    Susuana is a qualified educationist, a passionate historian and a qualified trainer, with master's in Business Administration and have undergo various training in different fields. As a woman with various experiences, this helps her in delivering the best support she can in making peoples dream achievable as she improves on her dreams.

    Objectives: African Caribbean Diaspora Matters

    To strengthen the network of people of African and Caribbean descent living in Ireland

    • To develop skills in our community and to build capacity for productive and self sufficient living
    • To be the liaison group between the African Caribbean group and all women’s group regionally & nationally
    • To create a platform for Youth and Young mothers to enable support and tackle common problem
    • To create a forum of exchange, information sharing and peer mentoring
    • To create a forum for men (adult), young men (Youth, Lads) to engage and be a voice among great women
    • To build up a culture of entrepreneurship and business

      Process of achieving our Aims and Objectives

      • Sustainable community development through education and business development
      • Enable participation in wider national economy and target poverty reduction a matter of priority
      • Establishing a new, fairer, and more equitable community in diaspora through coordination of the activities, information sharing.
      • Collaborate with other organisations to consolidation of unity and solidarity among the Irish community leading to fostering better integration.
      • Support access to education and employment and to full participation in public life
      • Strengthen to work to eliminate discrimination based on age, class, gender and disability can have a multiple impact on disadvantaged within the community.

      Our work in the community is Advocacy, Information and Advice, Community Development, Training, Workshop, Conference, Seminar, Event and Integration, Diversity, Inclusion, Consciousness and providing support on eradicating Poverty in the Third World Nation through Education.

      All this main activities is carried out through various initiatives set out which are;

      We want to surround ourselves with women who respect other’s view and treat other’s with respect and having value for women, also to invest into peoples life positively and promote positive image of Afro women. We love to come together and share and we believe our lives are greatly enhanced by the women we surround ourselves with through giving, investing, impacting, networking and integrating.

      Adcenter Parents & Toddlers Forum

      The purpose of the Adcenter Parents and Toddlers Forum for African Caribbean Migrant families is to create a supportive and inclusive community space specifically tailored to the needs of African Caribbean migrant families with young children. The forum aims to serve as a platform that fosters various essential aspects, including:

       

      1. Community Building: Facilitating the establishment of a sense of community among African Caribbean families by providing a space for parents to connect, share experiences, and build relationships with others facing similar challenges.

       

      2. Cultural Exchange: Encouraging cultural exchange and celebration within the community, where families can share and celebrate their African Caribbean heritage, customs, and traditions.

       

      3. Parenting Support: Offering a supportive environment where parents can seek and share advice on parenting, child development, and navigating the challenges associated with raising toddlers.

       

      4. Education and Information: Providing a platform for sharing information on resources, services, and educational opportunities relevant to African Caribbean families in the Adcenter community.

       

      5. Language Development: Supporting language development in toddlers by organizing activities that incorporate language-rich experiences, considering the unique linguistic and cultural aspects of African Caribbean families.

       

      6. Socialization for Toddlers: Facilitating playgroups and activities that enable toddlers to socialize, fostering their social and emotional development in a culturally sensitive setting.

       

      7. Crisis Support: Offering a support system for families facing crises, challenges, or adjustments related to migration, cultural adaptation, or other life events.

       

      8. Health and Well-being: Addressing health and well-being issues within the community, including promoting access to healthcare services, organizing wellness activities, and creating awareness about relevant health topics.

       

      9. Advocacy and Empowerment: Advocating for the needs and rights of African Caribbean families in the broader community, empowering parents to actively participate in decision-making processes that impact their families.

       

      10. Networking Opportunities: Creating opportunities for networking and collaboration among African Caribbean families and with local organizations, institutions, and services that can contribute to their well-being.

       

      In essence, the Adcenter Parents and Toddlers Forum serves as a holistic support system that recognizes and addresses the unique needs and strengths of African Caribbean migrant families, with a particular focus on the developmental years of toddlers.

I'm Adcenter Ambassador for Young Integration for Women in the African Caribbean Migrant community, young business minded thinking of exploring needed support as a business. I work with aspiring young migrant mothers, women and host community in creating an opportunity for us to build our business.

    • AIM: Afro in Diaspora is a group committed to supporting women, men and children of the African Diaspora through education, information sharing, peer-counselling, socializing mentoring and promoting each other as a group, while we hope and believe that the knowledge acquired will be passed down to support others. We are motivated by our commitment to the philosophy of altruism and to sharing our knowledge and experience with others.

      Project Title:DIASPORA MOVEMENT MATTERS

      AIM

      Diaspora Movement Matters will focus on the work of the organization by reinforcing our practical aim through our new innovative initiative to project, profile and promote cultural, heritage, positive communication and collaborative network with the host community of the possible advantage of engaging African's Caribbean's in diaspora to develop an investment movement in cultural exchange, shared heritage, improve positive form of communication and innovative way of networking to create and engage change with African Caribbean living in Ireland.

      Project Title:DIASPORA MOVEMENT MATTERS

      The PURPOSE

      Diaspora Movement Matters initiative purpose is to create a cultural development and further cultural heritage integration within the African Caribbean Migrant Irish community through communicating extensive networking which will generate a cultural conversation and promote heritage within an innovative platform.  

      Diaspora Movement Matters through working in collaboration with the various embassy to engaging the Diaspora in Nation Building tourism and the promotion of the country's image internationally. 

      Diaspora Movement Matters hope to implement a multicultural heritage for a  significant social inclusion of diaspora in Ireland, through the creation of an  alternative space that allows to educate both young people and adults and create  respect for diversity and a spirit of mutual acceptance and a rich and constructive exchange of cultural values.

      The funding comprising representatives from Department of the Taoiseach, the Department of the Environment and Local Government, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Fáilte Ireland.

       

      PROJECT EVALUATION

      This project will be evaluated by our board project committee and participant.

      The project will cut across the three categories below to achieve its aim:

      Conference: We are organizing two conference between July and November which are "Leadership Investment Movement" and "African'sCaribbean's Diaspora Movement Matters"

       

      The project AWARENESS will be launch on the 17th June 2016 @ Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport@ 7pm - 11pm

      The launch of the project will be on the 29th July 2016@ Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport @ 2pm - 6pm with the opening conference on "Leadership Investment Movement" and a dinner to display a cultural sense of our fashion tourism with the Afro Fashion Show Ireland and AfroFash International Award with our youth event of "Ambassador Night" to motivate Youth Networking in a fun, cultural environment which will be lead by our own "Adcenter Ambassador for Cultural Integration" Ambassador Gillian Chiazor Anyanwu on the 29th July 2016 @Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport @ 8pm - 2am

       

      Seminars: We will have a seminar event to introduce and launch the project in four counties, Using s seminars to highlight the three categories which the project is under

      Workshop: We will have workshop facilitated to engage women, men and young African Caribbean Migrant Irish communities on a shared cultural heritage and ideas

      Dialogue Forum: We will have a cross – border dialogue to exchange and share ideas on view of improving the movement of taking advantage of diaspora in politics, cultural exchange and communicating positive networking to improve the economy.

      Diaspora Movement Matters will focus on the area of the project which aliens with the criteria and root aim of the organization in projecting, profiling and promoting a positive perspective of African's Caribbean's in Diaspora Movement Matters.
